Our First Blog Post Ever!
Our inaugural blog post! I’m thrilled (and admittedly a bit nervous) kicking off this blogging journey. However, there’s no better way for me to share all the magic we get to create and bring you behind the scenes with us. Among our first major events of the 2024 season was Nicky and Marc’s enchanted wedding at Beth Tzedec.
An Enchanted Wedding Venue: Beth Tzedec Congregation
From the moment we stepped foot into Beth Tzedec Congregation, its charm and elegance immediately captivated us. The space’s grandeur—soaring, slated wood ceilings, herringbone floors, and floor-to-ceiling windows—exceeded all expectations. Words alone can’t fully capture the breathtaking architecture we encountered; it surpassed even the online images.
Nicky & Marc had a clear vision: they envisioned an organic and romantic day. Drawing inspiration from the season, we meticulously crafted lush arrangements featuring smilax greenery, alongside soft hues of peach, blush, and blue spring florals.
Nicky’s thoughtful choice of a mirror welcome sign, accompanied by baskets of florals and a classic escort card table, added a personal touch. Effortlessly reflecting their garden style and personalities, these details seamlessly fit the space. Moreover, the wild greenery arrangement that greeted guests set the perfect stage for the festivities to come.
Our focus extended beyond mere beauty to practicality. We strategically designed the ceremony space with versatility in mind, enabling us to repurpose floral elements for the reception seamlessly. While it posed a logistical challenge, witnessing everything come together flawlessly made every effort worthwhile.
The reception space underwent a stunning transformation, resembling an enchanted garden, thanks to the sprawling chandeliers adorned with smilax. Simple yet striking, they elevated the atmosphere, instantly transporting guests to a world of magic and romance. For those planning a whimsical wedding at Beth Tzedec, it’s crucial not to overlook the chandeliers. Luckily, smilax—which is typically available from early June to late March—was available, aligning perfectly with the enchanted garden vibe we sought.
